After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1965 and a Master of Divinity Degree in 1969, Pastor Nichols and his wife were called to the pastorate of First Baptist Church of Cody, Wyoming where they served for 20 years. The Church operated a Bible institute and in 1973 started a Christian Day School. The Nichols were then called to Minnesota to help a group of folks interested in beginning a new church in the northwestern suburbs of Minneapolis where they have been ministering since January of 1989 in what has now become the Independent Baptist Church of Ramsey, MN. In 1995 the Lord graciously answered the church’s prayer for a lovely building situated on 5 acres of land in the middle of the newly incorporated city of Ramsey, MN.
